By accessing and using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and by all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not accept these terms, you are not authorised to use the site.

3. Use of the site and licence

Permission is granted to temporarily view the site’s content for personal, non-commercial purposes. In particular, you may not:

  • modify or copy the content;
  • use it for any commercial purpose or public display;
  • attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer any software on the site;
  • remove any copyright or proprietary notices;
  • transfer the content to a third party or mirror it on another server.

All site content (texts, logos, trademarks, graphics, software, including the “Battery Virtualiser” / flexibility platform) is protected by Swiss and international intellectual-property law and remains the property of Optimal Energy or its licensors.

5. Accounts and secured areas

Certain services (e.g. the BESS sizing tool and the flexibility platform) require authenticated access. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. Optimal Energy may suspend or terminate access in case of misuse.

6. Personal data protection

Optimal Energy processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

  • Data processed: contact data you provide (name, e-mail, company), technical browsing data and, for secured areas, account and usage data.
  • Purposes: responding to your requests, providing and improving our services, ensuring site security, meeting our legal obligations.
  • Legal bases: consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interest or legal obligation.
  • Retention: as long as necessary for the purposes, then deletion or anonymisation.
  • Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, exercisable at contact@optimalenergy.ch.

7. Cookies

The site only uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (e.g. security, the contact form and remembering your choice on the cookie banner). No advertising or analytics cookies are set. Should this change, your consent will be requested beforehand.

The site may contain links to third-party sites that Optimal Energy has not reviewed and for which it is not responsible. Use of such sites is at your own risk.
